ONCE I AM A Captain's Club MEMBER, DO MAINTENANCE VISITS COST EXTRA?
WHEN DO YOU PERFORM Captain's Club MAINTENANCE VISITS?
THAT BEING SAID, WE GENERALLY PERFORM:
- Cooling visits – 4/1 to 9/30
- Heating visits – 10/1 to 4/1
- These timeframes may vary depending on weather conditions.
IF I AM A Captain's Club MEMBER AND MY SYSTEM BREAKS, HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU FIX IT?
As a Captain's Club member, you will receive priority emergency scheduling preference. We have a live person to answer phones 24/7 for your convenience
ARE LARGE FILTERS OR HUMIDIFIER PANELS INCLUDED WITH THE MEMBERSHIP?
No. Standard 1 inch filters are included on each visit. All other filters and humidifier panels are sold separately at the time of service.
IF I REQUEST A CERTAIN TECHNICIAN, IS IT GUARANTEED?
No. We will do our best.
CAN I RECEIVE CREDIT FOR UNUSED ANNUAL MAINTENANCE VISITS?
No, unfortunately we do not issue credit.

Terms & Conditions
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING UP. By signing this subscription, you signify your agreement to the terms below.
- Annual Maintenance Visits: The Captain’s Club includes an annual heating maintenance visit and annual cooling maintenance visit. We will attempt to contact you by mail, phone, or email to schedule your visits. If you fail to take advantage of these benefits, these annual visits are lost for the applicable period and have no monetary value.
- Ongoing Membership: Your membership will continue to automatically renew month to month unless you cancel your membership, or we terminate it.
- Discount Benefits:Â Discount benefits received prior to the end of the first six months of membership may be subject to a charge-back in the event of membership cancellation.
- Recurring Billing: By starting your Captain’s Club membership and providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge a monthly membership price at the then-current price or trail price by either Automatic Credit Card Debit or Automatic Bank Draft. The customer understands that the monthly fee will continue until a written notice of cancellation is received by our corporate office.
- Customer Right to Cancel: Customer may cancel this agreement at any time by sending us a written email at office@sharplong.com. Once received by the company, the customer will receive a cancellation confirmation. Membership is in full effect until the customer receives a cancellation confirmation.
- Company Right to Cancel:Â Company reserves the right to immediately terminate this agreement at our sole discretion.
- Transferability: If the customer moves, this agreement is transferrable to their new home as long as the new home is still within the company’s service area or leave to the new owner.
- Billing Cycles: The first monthly payment is collected at the time of service. Afterwards, monthly payments will be collected on a monthly basis (day of month may vary).
- Loyalty Rewards Fund: For each consecutive year of membership in the Captain’s Club, members will receive $100 of rewards credit towards the purchase of a new HVAC system. Value can be accrued up to $1,000. This rewards credit has no other monetary value.
- Benefits Use: Captain’s Club membership benefits are not for resale and not redeemable in cash. Any unused portion of your benefits is not refundable.
- Warranty: Warranty will be made invalid if another company or individual performs work on equipment installed by First Mate.
- Miscellaneous:Â Pricing and other terms subject to change without notice. See actual invoice or estimate for exact pricing. In such an event, the company will attempt to notify you before any price increase occurs.
- Limitation of Liability:Â UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE, SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM THE USE OF, OR THE INABILITY TO USE, ANY SERVICES PROVIDED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. APPLICABLE LAW MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OF EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY, TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND CAUSES OF (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION.
